Pacific Crest Trail Backpacking Trip


2.5 week Backpacking trip This was the first attempt of an extended event sponsored by the club.
The first ten days of the trip was just Frank and Keenan. They started at Ebbetts Pass and hiked to Carson pass along the Pacific Crest Trail. They arrived early at Carson pass so Frank did some fishing on Cables Lake while Keenan's Feet recuperated; he had bruised pads.
		Megan dropped Chris and Killian off and took Keenan home with her. Each day they would end up at either a lake or stream to camp by. The fishing was good at most of the stops.

The wild flowers were incredible and in full bloom. Many places along the trail had great vista points. The total trip was 90 miles, with 45 miles done after Chris and Killian joined. They ended the trip at Meeks bay on Tahoe.
